Took the kids to the drive-in last night which did not go as we expected. They did NOT fall asleep on the 1/2 hour drive. Miss M got to play on the playground and then watched the movie on Daddy's lap, crawling around periodically (not sure why other than she's 2!). Mr. J drank his bottle then fell asleep in Mommy's arms. We only stayed for one movie, but we had a good time and will definitely be back!
Need to stop procrastinating and get back to work!
Woohoo! I'm glad you guys got out of the house and had some FUN - and the drive-in sounds like the perfect way to see a movie with small children. YAY!
Come on down for a visit! It was a lot of fun! We hardly ever went when I was a kid, but I can see us making this a habit! So much less stress than taking them to a theater!
Glad you had a good time. I've been to the drive in a couple times. Considering it's $5pp, it's considerably less than the regular movie theater. ;)
Plus the old-timey drive-in intermission ads always make me giggle.
Really, one with a dirty mind should never watch a video of a hot dog bun making a weiner do tricks and then make it hop inside the bun. I about peed myself the first time I saw that.
